Stunning white sand beach with plenty of room to kite. During the Amihan season (November to April) when the trade winds come from the northeast, Anda is one of the best spots to catch the wind. In fact, during this time of year, you might need to go to Anda to kite since the wind is more consistent and doesn’t always wrap around Bohol enough to hit Panglao. During the Amihan season in Anda, wind speeds can average from about 10 to 20+ knots. Recommended kite size is 12 meters most days, depending on your weight and the board you are riding. By thy way, when the wind gets up around 20 knots, it is possible to find waves around 1 meter, which work best at high tide right at Quinale Beach. During Habagat season (May to October), you can also find good wind in Anda, though you might have to be a little more creative in finding places to launch further south than Quinale Beach if there is a wind shadow. For example, you could launch a little further south from the beach at 1Peace Guesthouse, although access may be limited to guests of the resort. Other resorts with southwestern exposure may also work during Habagat season. Water: Shallow, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Rooms, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
