Flat to choppy water. Shallow oyster beds on the far side of the boat channel. Broken glass can be found in the sand here and old rusty steel protruding from the surf in some spots! Ideal wind directions here are out of the SE or SW giving you a sideonshore wind direction, but the power lines and highway are still something to beware of. Out of the West or East is more ideal, giving a sideshore wind direction. If you don't mind a sideoffshore wind, out of the NE or NW is rideable, but it is still offshore. November to March 4-10°C and up to 18°C when warmer winds from the South blow in. April to September very hot, up to 37-38°C. Will cool down with North winds. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
