Very intricate and big lagoon. A very big variety of setups exist in this lagoon, from choppy dangerous passes, to incredible flat smooth water speed run spots. The lagoon is to big too explain all the risks and specificity, so prudent trial runs will soon unveil all the options. Parallel and close to the reef is a very good smooth water run, with long reform swell lines giving the possibility for mega boosting jumps or just plain high speed flying. The access from the beach is tricky, as the public areas are very rocky. Best is to take a taxi boat out Isle aux Cerfs for the day. There numerous sandy beaches allow trouble free entry to the lagoon. SE trade winds from June to October are the best. Light wind in summer. Winter around 20's°C, some thermal protection is needed. Summer slack wind, and lots of sun cream required. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Mediumwave. Features: Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
