1-2 meter waves. Surf season all year long except summer (December to February). Urban beach with lots of restaurants around the area. At weekends it get's a little crowded. This beach is frequented by most surfers and kitesurfers from Salvador. At high tide launch/land area gets a little small but still sufficient. Beach gets packed with beach goers during weekends. Best season to kite, from September to March. September to March: Northeast winds, 10-25 knots. April to August: Southeast winds. Warm water and air all year long, no wetsuit required, only solar protection. Water: Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Rooms, Shop, Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
