To to east you can reach the bottom about 300-400 meters off coast, but be aware of the changing current. To the west, the water gets very deep, so the spot is especially recommendable for the experienced kiter who wants to experience nature and isolation, as you will mostly be the sole person on water. The wind is most suitable coming from the east to south or from the west and north-west, but the less experienced kiter will also enjoy the area in western or south-western winds. If you dream of a kitespot far off the beaten track, away from noisy visitors and other raging activity, Kragesand is the place to be. The spot is found on the very end of Broagerland, facing Flensborg Bay with an amazing view overlooking the water. You park your car about 100 meters from water, and the area has the attention of the local authorities who keep it clear from rosehip bushes, making it easier for you to launch your kite without getting lines tangled in vegetation. Water: Flat, Chop. Features: Toilet, Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate.
