The water is quite flat on the edge of the lake and you can get small waves (<1m) in the middle of the lake during huge depression coming from the ocean. The water looks green/yellow. Shallow access. Sandy beach, about 600m long and 70m wide. June to September: you have what we call `thermal`, local wind starting to blow usually in the afternoon (with tide) picking up between 3:30pm and 6pm. Direction is West/Northwest with wind average between 12-18 knots. 16-20m2 are the perfect size. September and October: wind is strongly blowing (up to 30-40 knots) when depressions are coming. Best wind direction are southerlies. You can easily kite anytime in Sanguinet with 2 main seasons: June to September: summer quite hot between 20-40°C during high summer. September to October: temperature is going down but wind is blowing up due to strong depression coming from the ocean. Complete wetsuit equipment in winter, shorty or nothing in summer. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
