The bay is flat to slightly choppy but can get rough on strong East wind. Very shallow for a long way out. Great to learn on. Small sandy beach but great rigging area with huge grassy area and plenty of parking on top of Levee. Wind is good in fall and spring but light in summer. Any westerly direction is very bad due to height of Levee causing bad gusts. East is onshore and a little tough. Southeast wind most days 10-20mph. Fall and winter is frontal driven. Year round kiting with wetsuit needed only in 3 months during winter. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: School, Shop, Repair, Rental, Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
