With Levante nice waves roll into the bay. Can be very clean, best wave conditions from the Andalucia region. When it is high tide a shore break is possible. Size can go up to 3m. Every Tarifa local will be surfing there when conditions are perfect. At low tide the reef comes out. Sand with rocks. No problem for windsurfers. Kitesurfers should enter the water near the lighthouse: more space, sand and less rocks. Best when there is too much wind in Tarifa (Levante conditions = SE). Always 1-2 Bft less than Tarifa. When you have Poniente wind (NW) conditions are flat, it will be better in Tarifa or Bologna. On kitebeach SE is onshore. Air in winter 20°C, in summer between 25 and 35°C. Water between 18°C in winter and 23°C in summer. Winter long wetsuit, summer shorty or shorts, rest of year shorty. Water: Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Food. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
