Perfectly flat water in each of the lagoons. Open ocean on the other side of the sandbar. Wide open, sandy beach. Plenty of room to launch. When the cold fronts come through the state be prepared for the West wind journey to this spot. Due to the topography, almost any westerly wind will offer some play-time. Due to the cold fronts that create the wind, most folks will be using a light wetsuit. Winter is usually the best chances of riding in all of Florida. October to March seems to be the best offerings. Southwest Florida water is always warm. Normally no wetsuit needed. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Rooms, Shop, Rental, Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
