Medium waves, flat to choppy at low tide, shallow areas. Wave breakers every 300m. Big waves can occur during storm. Long sandy beach. Probably one of the cleanest of the Belgian Coast, almost no dirt laying around. Very good sand quality, hard sand and not too muddy. Depression winds, in summer we can have a sea breeze when hot. In fall and spring we have an average of 10 good days a month (wind direction, wind speed ok). Best wind conditions in spring and fall. In summer you can ride big gear. Fun in fall and spring with 5/3 wetsuit, in summer you can wear shorty, summer wetsuit etc. Surfing the whole year possible, but temps can get below zero. Water temp. 2°C in cold wintertime and 22°C in hot summertime. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Rooms, Camping, Shop, Repair, Rental, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
