The shallow sandy bottom extends for 100s of yards out into the lake. Flat to choppy, nice waves can form on stronger southerlies. Malmo Memorial Park, just south of the town, provides a huge grassy rigging area out of the wind, shade and easy water access. Works well for South and Southwest winds. Southerlies are nice and clean. Typical Minnesota climate: if you know Minnesota you know the weather at Reddy. Summer is warm and sometimes a little humid. Spring and fall can be chilly, bring your neoprene. Winter: dress warm for some serious snow kiting. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
