The lake is not always filled with water, it can dry out. Big flat water spot when the lake has enough water. Check before going, maybe by calling Mormon Lake Lodge. The lake is at 6,500 feet so is cooler than the valley. Water: Shallow, Flat. Features: Rooms, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
