The sea is split in two parts. One is wavy the other is very flat but full of windsurfers. I think they would be a bit angry about kitesurfers in this zone. Prefer the less busy time to get at this side. Shallow areas. The beach is big around 500-600m. In summer there are many cars and visitors. But there is space for everyone. Be careful with your camper. With high winds and tide the water can get very high. Camping is allowed and there are many in summer (around 100). Much wind: Meltemi NW from June to August, onshore and offshore. There are 2 mountains at the ends of the beach which accelerate the wind. Best time to go is the summer June to August. Air 30°C, water 24°C. Wetsuit not necessary in summer. All year round possible. Water: Shallow, Flat, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Rooms, Camping, School, Shop, Rental, Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
