This area is marked by orange buoys. This a mile long white sandy beach with tropical jungle as a background. When not using your kite, please keep it parked the closest to the jungle to keep the traffic area free. The best season for kiteboarding at the Sandos Playacar kite beach is from mid November to end of May. At this time of the year expect about 13-18 knots average mostly from NNE to NE, which is a perfect side/sideonshore wind. During the summer bring your biggest kite and lightwind boards. At this time of the year wind is coming mostly from SE. Water is warm all year around, no wet suit needed in this area. Water: Shallow, Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave.
