As the beach is in the outside of an estuary, there are strong currents when the tide goes down or up so watch out for your board if you loose it. These currents create some good ramps for jumping. Normal the water state is choppy unless there has been a down pressure which generates good waves (0.5-1.5 m) for some days. About 900m long beach. Narrow to the East and 100m wide to the West side. This spot only works with North and Northeast winds which is 50% of the wind that generally blows in this part of Spain. This wind blows the whole year been stronger in spring and summer months with an average of 15-18 days per month. The normal strength of the wind is from 12-20 knots getting stronger sometimes reaching 30 knots. Normal kite size is 10-12 sqm for lightweight and 12-16 sqm for heavier people. The beach curves, making NE onshore to the West and N onshore to the Eastside of the beach. The water is cold so a wetsuit is needed the whole year. Water: Flat, Chop, Smallwave.
