Flat to choppy water. Shallow on low tide. If too shallow, you can ride in the boat channel. On high tide no beach, access over stairs. Launch in the water or at low tide, then a sand bar comes out of the water. Best winds in fall to spring. Can be any force with depressions (mainly Westerlies). Summer lighter winds. Best wind directions: SE, E, NE. Summer is nice and warm. High season a short is ok, a few weeks with just shorts is possible. Usually a wetsuit is always needed. Water max 22°C in summer, normally around 15°C. Winter gets cold, but a thick wetsuit, gloves, mask and shoes make kiting almost year-round possible. Air: summer between 20-30°C, spring and fall around 15°C. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop.
