Barra do Cunhau

In fact there are several beaches. Most people go to "o outro lado" (the other side), where you''l find an ocean beach as well as the river mouth beach, with flat waters. Others prefer the Beach in front of the restaurant Solimar/Pousada Nova Holanda, with medium waves. Wind is from the same direction most all of the time. It's always in between 26 and 32 degrees. The rainy season is from march to august, which doesn't mean that it's raining all the time. It differs:this year(2007)was quite rainy,the two years before it wasn't. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Rooms, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate.
