It all depends on the tide. Low tide: mud flats and 6 inches of butter-smooth water for a mile from shore. High tide: 12 inches to 7 feet of water with the flats closer to shore . Wind is fickle, but when it's too windy on the ocean side this spot is definitely a perfect fall back. Winds are usually in the 12-20mph range and can be gusty at times. This is a summer spot only as you need southern/northern winds for this spot to go off. Mostly sunny with air temp in the 70's°F all summer. Wetsuit is definitely needed in the water, though it can get quite warm in the summer at low tide. Water: Shallow, Flat. Features: Rescue, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
