Nice waves. There is a bit of an under toe but you are not spending the whole time swimming. Great sandy beach, some rocks. The most usual is from East, not always strong but good, and when we get a cold front or hurricane close by you will have great winds so check out the weather a few days ahead and come on over. We have a wind pattern where you get a few days with good sideshore winds then it will switch East, then you go to the waves. It stays there a couple of days and then switches South and if it is strong it means you will have good winds from the North which we call Brisote or Norte depending on the direction and strength. So all you have to do is wait for the proper conditions. East winds (onshore) are the best for this place, but the waves are worth it. East is the dominant wind direction and the preferable time is between February (carnival!) to May. If you live in cold places this will be heaven. Warm water and air. Every other Norte wind in November to December you might need a wetsuit/shorty. Water: Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
