El Tranque Ovalle

Small lake extremely flat. Nice grass beach, wide open, lots of space for launch and land. Entry to water very slippery, the use of boots is recommended. If the coast line is free of cloud, wind is guaranteed in El Tranque. Wind speed between 12-20 knots sideshore. Central region of Chile just in the middle of the vineyards: lot's of sun. Cold during four months (May to August), warm and hot the rest of the year. The spot is very warm and the water is about 25°C. Season begins in October and ends in March or April. Water: Shallow, Flat. Features: Camping, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
