It can be very windy here (40+) so watch the forecast and hit the water early on windy days. On N wind ride the South jetty. On S wind (winter time and gustier) ride the North jetty. The Oregon coast is usually cool. Water in the 50s°F so a full wetsuit is always needed. Spring to fall kiting with air temps from 50s-70s°F. Watch out for fog. Water: Flat, Smallwave, Mediumwave, Bigwave. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
