Big waves spot, with high tide there is very little room for launch and you have to be very careful with onshore winds. Currents and big waves, it's a spot for experts only. Sandy beach. With high tide there is very little room for launch and you have to be very careful for the onshore winds. At low tide you have an about 40m wide beach and about 800m long. If you have problems there is no more beach only cliffs to the South and North. In summer when it's blowing more than 30 knots and gusty in Sotavento (12 minutes by car in the other side of the island) here the wind is 20-25 knots and constant. The sea at this side of the island is very dangerous and you don't have much room for errors. The wind usually is onshore sometimes a litle sideonshore. It's difficult to go out for the wind direction and big waves. Nice air temperatures all year-round, around 25°C. Water rather cold, wetsuit needed all year-round. Water: Mediumwave, Bigwave. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Expert.
