Hou

Fairly small waves, but quite regular in frequency. Areas between waves with almost flat water. Not much tide. Somewhat narrow but very long an unused, so lots of space to launch. There are dunes as well. A few stones and shells but not bad. Usually good and stable winds. Any strength possible with depressions. Best winds in fall and spring. Summer lighter. Same temperatures as usual in Denmark. Water temp seldom above 21°C, but sometimes below freezing in winter. A wetsuit is usually necessary. Season is March to at least October. Off-season surfing is definitely possible. Water: Chop, Smallwave. Features: Food.
