Flat to choppy water. The coral reef starts just 100 meters off the beach. Facing the mainland, which you can see on a clear day, Sairee Beach is a long beautifully curved beach, stretching roughly 2 miles. Palm trees and vegetation grow wildly, creating a green border between the beach and the island itself. It is only ok for advanced kitesurfers since the launching area is very small and cluttered with rocks. Best winds from winter to spring. Thailand is a tropical country with its typical high temperature all year round. 25-30°C in the cold season, 35-40+°C in the hot season and 30-35°C during the rainy season. Humidity is always high, even though it's easier to bear during the cold season during which the sun shines.
