Since it is a lake it has flat water, the stronger the winds the more chop it has. Sandy beach, lots of space and very safe. The perfect wind between 4-8 Beaufort from NW. If there is a NW wind in Sofia then it is 100% perfect to surf on the lake. Cold, damp winters. Hot, dry summers, no wetsuit needed, only in winter. The water temperature averages 26°C and air temperatures up to 43°C during summer. Water: Flat, Chop. Features: School, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
