The port police have been placed balloons in the water to close the area to protect 30 swimmers only. This area extend in 2km distance on the beach, where is prohibited for kitesurfers or windsurfers. Port police are very strict for applying this law to kitesurfers or windsurfers but they ignore the kiteschools that are force you to pay for using the water or that they extend their area. 5 km beach full of seaweeds. They let only 200m rocky beach for kitesurfers and windsurfers if you don't use the schools services. The summer winds of 4-7 Bft mean that there is usually a breeze to be found on some parts of the island and the heat is not strong. June can be without wind.
