There are sea urchins on the rocks especially downwind of the peer - so try to stay upwind. The beach is very narrow and it is hard to launch the kite properly. I always used to start the kite Russian style as this was the only way to avoid starting while swimming. The NE trade winds turn to SE due to the neighboring islands and the mountainous landscape of Bequia - thus the wind is very gusty - the spot may only work at strong wind conditions as the wind sometimes will drop down to nearly zero and speed up again in a second. Try to get out into the blue water there the wind will be more stable however come in early before getting dragged to far downwind as the rocks of Moonhole are treacherous. Water: Chop, Smallwave. Features: Rooms. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
