Works very well on a NE wind with an incoming tide. Good flat water kiting in the river and river mouth and good wave riding a little further out. Waves are usually around 4ft. Stay as far upwind as possible as not to be a hassle to other water users. Beautiful sandy beach approx. 1km long. N problems to launch or land a kite. Grass at the car park to rig your gear. Car guards can assist in pumping up kites, launching and landing. From October to March the wind blows from E and NE. Usually 2-3 days per week. The strongest wind is normally in October and November with 22-28 knots. In December to March expect 12-20 knots with the odd stronger day. If the wind blows early in the morning from East, it's going to howl. Works only in E and NE winds. Water temp 17-20°C. Air temp 20-28°C. A wetsuit is not essentially needed. Season from October to March. Water: Shallow, Flat, Mediumwave. Features: Rooms, Camping, Shop, Rescue, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
