Nice waves, up to 6 feet depending on winds and ocean swell. Long sandy beach. Very wide with lots of space. Soft sand. Smaller kites here as it usually blows 10mph stronger than the rest of the coast. NW winds accelerate at Cape Neahkahnie north of Manzanita, offering solid and often very windy conditions from Manzanita down to Nehalem Bay State Park. The water is cold but you really don't feel it. A 4 or 5 mm wetsuit is fine. No booties unless you have timid feet. Most of the time you are dying to get out of our suits by a sessions end. Water: Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
