Puemape is another really nice wave in between Pacasmayo and Chicama. Access to the water is fairly easy, waves are not too intimidating, and there are no strong current except in case of a massive swell. The only hazards are a rocky shore and the fact that you will be probably riding alone there. The wind is cross shore. Landing and launching is best north of town to avoid wind shadows. Water: Mediumwave. Features: None. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
