There is no tide. It depends on the wind if it's choppy/wavy or not. A few rocks in the water. Take shoes with you - there are many urchins. The beach is about 20-25m wide. Then there are trees and a small road. It's a stone beach. The beach is a bit small and not the best place for kitesurfing. The area to enter the water is limited by buoys to distinguish the kite area from the swimming area. It is therefore important to be able to stay upwind. It is possible to launch further up the beach, then you will have a long downwinder back to the kitecenter. The high season for kitesurfers is from June to middle September with the best winds. Daily 'Meltemi' winds are 4-6 Bft. Autumn/spring has different winds. Not regularly, but stronger. Best in W and SW. Summer is the best time to go, water 24°C, air 30°C. A lycra for sun protection is recommended. Spring/autumn you need a wetsuit. In wintertime a long wetsuit. Water: Chop, Smallwave. Features: Shop, Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
