Very big lagoon (several km). The lagoon is very beautiful with very clear water and a bit choppy because of its size. Not really a spot where you will be able to ride the waves as the wind is sideonshore and there is a ripping current in the passes. The public beach is for general access, but this unfortunately is fairly rocky and you will have to be a top rider to enter the water safely. Careful for the general prevailing wind is of sideonshore nature, and quite a few kiters have had trouble at the launch. Best period is during SE trade wind period. Summer with less wind, unless there is a cyclone in the area (beware of their gusty winds). Sideonshore wind conditions most of the time. Winter in the 20°C and summer 25-30°C. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
