The outgoing tide here means that you are able boost endlessly without having to worry about working back up wind. The river mouth is the perfect kite park set up. You have flat water that runs out into surf, natural sand sliders and the odd sand bar to try your luck with. The surf brakes both right and left and varies depending on the sand but it is always smashable. Lots of beach with plenty of help at hand. A large sandy area to land and launch. The season starts in September with NE sea breezes through to end of April. Winter can bring Southerlies but they are hit and miss. Warm weather all year round with water temps at 25°C in summer and 22°C in winter, +-2°C air temp much the same, can get to the high 30's°C in summer. Board shorts only from late October till early April. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Shop, Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
