Flat water spot. Clean water with fresh water mussels. No tides. Very flat with little chop, even when the wind is blowing. Open grass area around the dam with no trees to worry about. Dispersed small rocks. Best wind is 3 days before any cold front, and 2 days after a cold front. This means kiting is possible almost every weekend in winter. Summer receives early morning wind which dies by about 10:30am. Still allows a couple of hours kiting if you arrive early. In summer, only early morning is consistent or winds become gusty with potential whirlwinds. NE is best direction. Winter is June to November time. Water: Flat. Features: Shower, Toilet, Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
