Flat to choppy water. Beach with soft sand. Wind is especially good during the El Norte's that also work well in La Ventana. Good winter location with both thermal and frontal wind influence. Winter winds most often from the NW. Best month is February. The wind drops off a few hundred yards out due to a peninsula that blocks it. Going downwind a half mile or so improves this issue. Warm during summer, but cold in winter. Sunny. 3/2 Wetsuit. Water: Flat, Chop. Features: Rooms, Camping, School, Shop, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
