Choppy and waves. Nice waves in stronger onshore winds. You must stay out past the markers. Nice, wide, safe and sandy beach. Lots of room. The beach about 70m wide. Be careful in onshore winds since big buildings are just right at the beach. 10-20 mph in winter, can be stronger with fronts. 5-15 mph in summer, only a few days stronger. Summer lighter SE thermals, about 10-15 knots. November to April: cold fronts bring SE before and NE after it, with 15-20, sometimes up to 25 knots. During winter about 4 days per week surfing possible. 3/2mm wetsuit for the locals on the coldest days in winter, shorty or top on most days. Sun protection recommended. Water: Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Shower, Parking. Rider ability: Expert.
