Flat to choppy water. With onshore winds waves. About 1 km long beach, directly between Ardrossan and Saltcoats. The beach is in a bay surrounded by the two villages. This makes it only ridable in a S or SW wind. Expect everything. This is Scotland: generally you need a 5mm steamer all year. Water: Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
