From choppy to real big waves, depending on the wind directions. The beach is a long sandy beach but quite narrow. With strong onshore wind, this is not a safe spot as the smallest mistake might send you on the beach houses or on the road behind. Almost always good wind in winter, spring and autumn (5-8 Bft). In summer the ridable days are quite difficult to find or you need to have big gear. The summer temperature is around 20-28°C, in the winter it can vary from -10°C to 15°C. In summer the water is around 19°C and in winter 5-6°C. The weather in The Netherlands is very variable. From March to October the temperature is pretty good. When you are lucky you can have some days that you don`t have to wear a wetsuit. But normally you definitely need a wetsuit. In the months November to February it's winter time, surfing possible, but very cold. Water: Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave. Features: Camping, Rescue, Toilet, Food, Parking.
