Shallow. Tidal beach, with some strong tidal currents. Big tidal range so check your tables! Flat water heaven around 2/3 tide when the 'lagoons' start to fill. Can turn into a beach-break in a northerly near high-tide. Time to pack up when the water starts approaching the rocks! Flat sand. Huge beach, at low tide very wide. At high water springs no beach to launch from and carpark can flood as does the approach road. Smooth, stable wind, as surrounding area is quiet flat. Recommended in anything from W through N round to E. Typical UK weather. Winter thick wetsuit, high summer can be shorts and lycra only. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
