Watch out for rocks, check the beach at low tide. There is excellent surf most of the year. Very long, sandy beach. A few rocks, and some seaweed now and again. High tide unsuitable as for no launching space due to harbor wall and dunes. The beach curves. To the north N and S are sideshore, and to the south E and W are sideshore. Water rarely below 7°C, wetsuit advised. Normal wetsuit, minimum 3/2 short arms for peak of summer, but no shorty! Season good April to October. Rarely gets very cold, maximum temperature of air is around 20°C. Can rain a lot in winter. Average water temperature of 10°C. Water: Smallwave, Mediumwave. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
