Flat to choppy water. During winter the lake freezes, excellent for snowkiting. Muddy bottom and reeds on the shore. Grassy launch with reeds at the waterline. Good winds all year round. Mainly NW winds, about 30% SE, which is best here. During summer expect some thermal gusts. 4 month season usually requires a thin wetsuit. You can also snowkite in the winter when the lake freezes.
