Watch out for alligators. Watch out for drunks in 4x4's and anyone driving on the beach. Since 2016, wooden piles prevent beach access by any vehicles, making it impossible to drive to the gulf side beach and the westerly starting point of the lagoon. If riding Gulf side don't ride if it's anything with North in it or you may end up clinging kiteless to an oil rig out in the Gulf of Mexico. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave, Mediumwave, Bigwave. Features: None. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
