The beginner spot at low tide is great as the wind is blocked at low tide by the reef or rocks about 300 yards off shore. High Tide can be a little choppy with winds over 15mph. Still a great safe place to learn to kitesurf. Walk past the chain and head into the back bay for flat water and more. Good winds all year round. A dessert effect brings in the wind every day between 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Warm and sunny. Ride in shorts, only during winter a shorty is needed. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop. Features: Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
