Flat shallow water (waist deep). Drops off outside the reef marker flags. Hurricanes passing north of island produce some nice surf conditions with right hand breaks. The beach offers the easiest launching and access to the water. White powder sand, some pebbles, shells and stones. No facilities, but there are kite schools and some beach huts for shade. It's blowing here in Aruba Northeast all year long, maybe some lighter days in the month of September-November and in the beginning of December. But that only means it won't blow every day over 15 knots. The chance you can kiteboard are always 90%. Don't forget your small kite sizes! Days of 25 knots are quite normal. Offshore winds, therefore it is quiet gusty. In November until January it is the rainy season. Tropical rain showers are short but heavy. Temperature averages are in the low 22°C and high 34°C. Boardshorts and rashguards. After a session a hoodie is a good thing. Sunscreen is a must since you are only 700 miles from the equator and the sun is intense. Water: Shallow, Flat.
