Flat to choppy water on the inside and small waves outside the lagoon. This spot has always deeper water, since it is the exit of the lagoon. So not depending on the tides. The island has few small lagoons which fill up on high tide and can be fun to play. Keep an eye on your board when tides change, the current can take it quickly further away. The beach is tidal. On low tide you launch from the beach with the helper, and on high tide the helper stays above on land while you walk into the water and launch from there. Be careful, the sand can be slippery at some spots. The helper can help for a secure launch. Setting up your kite is on the grass, and the beach boys will help you. Several month with great winds, normally 20-30 knots, almost daily. Strongest months August until December. Less wind during rainy season, but also possible to have good winds here and then. Lighter days 15-20 knots. During rainy season many days with 10-15 knots minimum. Warm and sunny all year round, shorts only. Sun protection is advices due to strong sun. Rainy season is from Febraury til May. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Rooms, School, Shop, Repair, Rental, Rescue, Shower, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
