Clean shallow waters, for 50-100 meters from the beach it's knee deep. At the eastern part of the beach, away from kiteschools, water is much deeper at the beach. At the sea, away from shallow area, with wind around 12 knots it's pretty choppy. There is also bay that has knee deep flat water. Be cautious not to get stuck at the southern part of it, since the bottom of this bay there is silty. There might be stinging jellyfishes at the sea, not dangerous, just unpleasant. Beach is full of kitestations and schools. Beach consists of dense sand, grass and small seashells. Kite stations provide mats and sandbags for the kites. Sometimes storms bring lots of seaweed to the shore. Beach is not that wide, sometimes you gotta get into the water to launch your kite. This beach is for kiters only, so no swimmers, unless further to the east. During May and June dominant wind might be NE. On July wind is less active, but there is always thermal western breeze around 8 knots, or even higher, so check the weather stations that are connected to the wind forecast apps. Wind picks up mostly after noon and dies at the sunset. Most of the summer season the temperature is around 25-30 C. Water is warm too, especially at the shallow areas. But there might be cold currents, especially in July, so get a wetsuit just in case. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave.
