Lake Michigan. Flat and choppy water with small waves if the wind is stronger. Shallow area. Beautiful deep beach with 400' boardwalk directly out on the beach. Great sand, clean, no rocks, great dune grass, tons of space to launch and land. Completely depends! The best months for strong winds take place in the fall, beginning in September. Summer is the time, but August and September are still beautiful. In summer no wetsuit necessary. August and September wetsuit may be a good call. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Rooms, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
