During low tide you must walk out about 100m to get to deep enough waters. Only guests of the hotel use the beach. Sometimes locals walk by. The place is very rural with not so many people living on the island. From July to October the winds are offshore, but a simple boat ride to the other side of this small island (endless, unused beach) resolves that. Look up for weather patterns for Coron, not far away.
