This area is offers absolutely flat water. The channel is plenty wide can accommodate a large crew of riders. We never get anything but North and South wind here in south Texas. Steady winds. The angle of the channel generally runs at 100 degrees angle off the wind, perfect for speed runs as well as freestyle. Wind is always stronger at this inland location than on South Padre Island when direction is from the Southeast. Water: Flat. Features: None. Rider ability: Intermediate, Expert.
