General chop created by the wind reaching heights of 1 meter in strong winds. The water is transparent and in shallow waters the conditions get really flat. The beach is 2 km long with white sand, there is enough room for lots of kitesurfers and in high tide there is no problem for rigging and launching the kite. High pressure is the best for this beach giving winds from 10 to 35 knots. The best conditions are from May to end of September when the normal wind is Northeast. Aguieira is situated in the Northwest of Spain, the region is always very cloudy and gets very rainy in winter. A spring suit is needed all year around. Water: Shallow, Flat, Chop, Smallwave. Features: Rescue, Toilet, Food, Parking. Rider ability: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
